Curtis "Mick" Darrell Barker

Curtis “Mick” Barker born on Oct 16, 1940, was well known around town as a fantastic auto body man, however, before he explored a long lived career in auto body work, he would tend to sheep and play basketball and run to his heart’s content. Going through life Mick had mastered the art of what it meant to be Blue Collar. That lifestyle taught him how to work hard and to always be the first one to jump up and help, and the last to ask for help because he knew that whoever he asked would just do it wrong. That lifestyle also taught him that the only movie that’s worth watching was a good Western Film, preferably, John Wayne. Mick was a husband to the late Gladys “Tike” Barker and father to four exceptional children, Curtis Michael Barker, Rodney Mitchell Barker, Clinton Marcus Barker, and Parris Marie Barker. A grandfather to six amazing grandkids; Aireal Barker-Horn, Tucker Barker, Kade Barker, Gage Barker, Jake Barker, and Tate Barker, lastly, a great grandfather to six wonderful great grand kids; Aiden Horn, Harlow Horn, Jace Barker, Rhett Barker, Griffen Barker, and Ellie Barker. Mick would spend many hours at his grandkids sporting events even so much that he would keep the stats for not only that game but the entire season! He loved sports and he loved his family. He was loved and will be deeply missed as we know he is now tending heavens sheep.
