George William Chandler
May 17, 1937 – July 9, 2023
George William Chandler passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023 at home in Inkom, Idaho at the age of 88. He was born in Inkom, Idaho May 17, 1937 to James Victorand Agnes LuVera (Davids) Chandler. He married LoRene F. Barnes on June 14, 1957 in the Idaho Falls temple and they had 6 children together.
George is survived by his children, George (Rhonda) Chandler, JoDee Thornley, Christian (Darschelle) Chandler, Kendra Wilde, Jaylene (Clinton) Maxfield, 19 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren, one sister, one brother and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, his parents, ten siblings, a son, Joel Chandler who died at birth, and son-in-law, Brent Wilde.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, July 22, 2023 at the Jackson Creek LDS church located at 150 Snow Peak Blvd, Inkom, Idaho. A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 pm on Friday, July 21, 2023at the Jackson Creek LDS church.
For those who are unable to attend, the services will be available via live feed and an audio recording will be uploaded to George’s memorial page following the services. Interment will be at the Inkom Cemetery following the services.
