Obituary

Helen Mar DeWall longtime resident of Pocatello died Thursday afternoon August 10, 2023.

She was born August 19, 1931 in Evanston Wyoming.

On November 18, 1949, she married the love of her life, Harry DeWall.

She and Harry lived in Utah where Helen worked for Hill Airforce Base before moving to Pocatello. After moving to Pocatello in 1960 Helen began working for Social Security Administration and retired from the US Government after 30 years March 5, 1986.

She is survived by a son, Scott (Jalyn) DeWall, Pocatello, Idaho; 5 grandchildren, Joni DeWall, Brock DeWall, Justin DeWall, Adam Harker, Dustin DeWall; 5 great-granddaughters, Hanna, Olea, Charli, Dusti and Ava: 3 great-grandsons, Dawson, Jay and Wyatt. She was proceeded in death by her husband Harry, her parents and her sister Louise.

Memorial funeral service will be held Saturday August 26, 2023 10:00 AM graveside at Mountain View Cemetery, Section 55 East, Pocatello, Idaho with weather permitting. If weather is a factor the memorial service will be held at Manning Wheatley funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Idaho Food Bank
