Kolby Kyle Jamieson, 20, passed away Monday morning due to injuries sustained in a car accident near Fillmore, UT. Kolby was known for his light hearted easy nature and his immense capacity for kindness. At 6’4” he stood as a beacon of light to many.
An artist at heart, he never allowed his sketchpad to grow lonely. He willed heroes to the rescue, pinning villains to the page, held hostage at penpoint. His love of the super heroic led him to marvel over intricate details of heroism. It’s no wonder that he adapted a super hero persona of his own. Armed with a humble self assurance and clad in an array of outfits capped with a fedora, he shared his super power of altruistic kindness everywhere he went.
He is so loved by his many adoring fans, including his grandparents and extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who consider him our hero for loving us unselfishly, with his whole heart. The oldest of his family, he leaves five siblings in his wake: Reece, Jayce, Kortlyn, Paige, Kenna. He will continue to be their hero and watch over them from above. His dad, Kyle, and mom, Roxanne, could not be more proud of the boy they raised and the man he became.
Funeral services for Kolby will be held Saturday May 1, 2021 at 2pm at the McCammon LDS Stake Center. If you have a memory you would like to share of Kolby you are encouraged to leave it on the tribute page of this website.
