Laura May (Harding) DeLaTorre

It is with a heavy heart that we are sharing that our mom has found peace and is celebrating in heaven with everyone that has gone before her.

On March 26, 2023, Laura May DeLaTorre (Harding) passed away at the age of 73 years old in Pocatello Idaho at Portneuf Medical Center. She was surrounded by her family.

Laura spent her life serving others as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). She felt that it was her life calling to serve other in need. She spent lots of time enjoying the time that she was able to spend with her grandchildren. She found great joy in being able to have them in her home as much as possible, as was evident by the many photos that hung on her walls, an the many scrap books that she took great pride in creating. When she was no longer able to work as a nurse, she found comfort in creating special gift for people such as jewelry, cross stich wall art, and crocheted gifts. She was active in her local community and church. Many have shared how she was able to brighten up their day just by a simple statement.

Laura is survived by Francis Starlene Tanner (Sister). Her children, Randall M. Parker of Blackfoot ID, Charles W. Parker of Blackfoot Idaho, Lori L. Schmalz (Parker) of Idaho Falls Idaho, Maria E. DeLaTorre of Blackfoot Idaho. She is survived by several grand children and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Maurice Harding, her mother Harriet Williams (Moore), Elain Harding, brothers Gary ?, Keith Harding, and James Shamburg, Reyes DeLaTorre (Husband).
